They are meant to sensitize students to the broader social, cultural, economic, ethical and humane issues involved in social change.. The department has excellent opportunities and facilities for the pursuit of research and development. The Departmental faculty also guides B.Tech., and M.Tech projects offered by the Engineering Departments and Inter-Disciplinary Groups.
