Perched in this setting, KIIT presents a multi-cultural ambience with more than 200 International enrolments into its various programmes. Campuses of the University are in close proximity to each other in a radius of two kilometers. Sixteen sprawling campuses spread over an area of 350 acres of prime land give KIIT an identity of its own.

KIIT University campus is a mini metropolis in its own right. Everything that one would expect is located here - lecture theatres, the 24 hours Library, Hospital, Bank, Post Office, sports grounds, multi-gym, indoor stadium, Yoga Centre, Convention Centre, Guest Houses, Hostels, ATM Counters, Travel House, Park, Police Check post, Rugby Ground, welfare services and supermarket.

24 x 7 Library Complex
KIIT University has a multi storied Reading Room and Library, functional round the clock. The largest ever library in the state spread over an area of 45,000 sq ft and constructed on the premises of the main campus of KIIT can accommodate 1000 students. The Library has more than 1,00,000 books, 10,000 titles and 75 journals and links to thousands of e-journals, periodicals through advanced communication networks. The high mast lights to illuminate the entire campus and its surrounding, the friendly staff to help the students throughout the night, the vigilant security and the coffee shop to take away the fatigue in the wee hours of the night encourage the student towards his academic pursuit.

Data Centre
In continuation with its pursuit of establishing a full fledged e-Campus, KIIT has established the Data Centre, also located in 24 X 7 Library-cum-Reading Room Complex.

High end data center is an integration of a large number of high-end computing devices with their end users through scalable and faster data transfer throughout, with the ultimate objective of providing 24 x 7 services to KIIT users for accessing resources over LAN, WAN and internet. KIIT Data Centre houses an array of latest gadgets, including IBM Blade Servers, Storage Area Network (SAN) and Cisco core switch 6509 having gigabyte data transfer capabilities.

Wireless Lab
24 X 7 Library-cum-Reading Room Complex also houses two wireless labs, having the capacity to accommodate 120 and 108 students respectively. In the wireless lab, access to computing and information resources is provided by way of installation of a transmitting device called wireless Access Points (AP).

Cent percent placement record in KIIT Group of Institutions year after year proves that placement is assured to each student here, whether one is in ITI or in its postgraduate courses. Equally encouraging is the repeat visits by most of the companies, which is a testimony to the fact that KIIT alumni have proved their mettle in these companies. This validates our focus on quality academics and a pedagogy which develops overall personality of our students. An incredible 130 companies participated in the campus recruitment programme this year.

Intelligent E-Campus
Campus Networking at KIIT has only a few parallels in the globe among the educational institutions and universities. The network proudly privileges hi-tech facilities such as Wi-Fi hot spots installed over Optical Fibre and Wireless Bridge.

Accessibility to network and computing resources has been achieved from any place within the campus.

The resources include IBM Blade Centre Servers, VOIP Telephony, Video Conferencing, broadband internet, VPN with remote campuses and the total spectrum of application software including CAD, CAM, Robotics, simulators and embedded software.
The facility enables a user with a wired PC or wireless laptop to access the integrated network for voice, video and integrated data (AVVID) from anywhere the campus. A voice server based on IP technology enables a user to make telephone call to anywhere in the world from one’s PC or wireless laptop through the campus network. Besides, a remote user can access the network through broadband internet.

KIIT is the first ever educational institution in the country to have VPN connectivity among remote campuses. This technology links Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Bangalore and Pune Campuses. The VPN connectivity enables the communication of data, voice and video among the campuses. The facility has been established in collaboration with Sify.
